GEW Event - To mark one year of the Go Succeed programme, I was tasked with creating a celebratory video that would be shown at their key stakeholder event during Global Entrepreneurship Week. The video needed to highlight the programme’s impact, showcase its achievements, and build excitement around the possibility of renewed funding. From the outset, I led the creative development of the animation — from initial concept and storyboarding right through to final delivery.
Working from a high-level brief and a set of programme stats, I crafted a visual narrative that brought Go Succeed’s story to life. I designed the entire piece, building a clean, engaging style that matched the brand and felt vibrant enough to suit the celebratory tone of the event. I then storyboarded the structure, using motion and pacing to highlight milestones like business support figures, masterclasses, events, and success stories.
Once approved, I animated the full piece — incorporating typographic builds, transitions, and dynamic layouts to ensure the messaging landed with energy and clarity. Every element was built to work within a flexible 1920x1080 format for both in-room presentation and potential online use.
Because the video also functioned as a visual centrepiece for the event, I paid close attention to rhythm and flow, using motion not just to inform but to engage the audience throughout. I managed every stage of the animation process, ensuring technical precision and a polished finish in line with the tight deadline.
This project gave me full creative ownership over a meaningful piece of content — one that helped summarise a year’s worth of impact while visually reinforcing Go Succeed’s mission and momentum. It was a great example of how design and motion can be used together to celebrate real-world achievements and make a message resonate.
As part of Go Succeed’s broader campaign activity, I also produced a series of Digital Out of Home (DOOH) animations to promote their rolling schedule of business masterclasses across Northern Ireland. These campaigns appeared on Adshel Live and other screen formats in high-traffic areas, so the animations needed to be bold, legible, and instantly engaging. I reworked supplied creative from the design team into motion-led assets — carefully adjusting pacing, transitions, and visual hierarchy to ensure key information was clear at a glance. Each piece was built to align with the existing Go Succeed brand while delivering a strong call to action in just a few seconds of screen time.
In parallel with this, I developed a full suite of programmatic display ads to support the same masterclass campaigns online. I designed and animated HTML5 banners across standard sizes, optimising each one for fast load times and smooth playback across devices. From layout design to export, I handled the entire process — ensuring every asset met technical requirements for digital ad networks. These programmatic creatives played a key role in extending the campaign’s reach, driving traffic to the masterclass sign-up pages while maintaining a consistent visual language across both physical and digital channels.
